The Webber dock in Bucksport is the only terminal currently receiving liquid bulk products on the Penobscot River. The dock can accommodate vessels up to 700’ length, 106’ beam and a maximum draft of 35’ (brackish) for docking at high water. All vessels generally dock within one hour of high or low water slack. For vessels berthing at low water slack, the maximum draft is 28’ (based on a 0’ tide). The tide range in Bucksport is 11’. The Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory over the Penobscot River below Bucksport has a vertical clearance of 142’.
