Beautiful fall day to bring a tanker into Bucksport. The ship is 600′ by 105′ with a draft of 29.5′. Air draft was 134′, plenty of clearance going under the bridge. She had all ready discharged part of her cargo in Boston, and was dropping off 100,000 barrels of jet in Bucksport before going back to Boston to discharge the balance of the cargo. The Captain Arthur Fournier on the bow has 40 tons of bollard pull and Fournier Boys on the stern (the newest tug in the port) has 60 tons bollard pull.
